The covers for this series of books are taken from a much loved family pine tree.  The wood has been aged for three years with careful attention given to preserve the natural edge of the wood.  It was then torrefied to deepen the natural colour of the wood.

Inside you’ll find Strathmore 400 Series drawing paper, 80lb/130gsm.  This paper works well with graphite pencil, coloured pencil, pen and ink, marker, soft pastel, mixed media and oil pastel; perfect for all your drawing and writing needs.  Each signature is wrapped in a cover of Strathmore 400 Series watercolour pager, 140lb/300gsm.

Decorative guards add extra strength to the overall binding and on this particular book they are of a pioneer camp scene.

The pages have been aged and shaped to match the contours of the live edge covers and have been aged with a tea and coffee dye making each page unique in its markings – ready for you to complete with your words, sketches or other art work.

The Coptic end bands provide both strength and beauty.

Hand sewn using Irish linen thread.
