There is something so comforting about leather.  It feels good in your hands, smells good and it is the perfect flexible covering for your journal or sketchbook.

When I select a leather hide to work with I am always looking for one that has the most interesting edges and markings allowing for each cover to be unique.

The wrap cover for these books are made from the softest Argentinian leather and are hand sewn with Irish linen thread using a variation of the long stitch bookbinding method.

While each of these books have similar dimensions, each one has a unique live edge.  I’ve included a photo of what is available.  If you have a preference, please let me know!

Inside you’ll find Strathmore 400 Series drawing paper  ~medium surface (80 lb/118 gsm).  This paper works well with graphite pencil, coloured pencil, pen and ink, marker, soft pastel, mixed media and oil pastel; perfect for all your drawings, multi-media and writing needs.

Each signature (group of pages) is wrapped in a cover of Strathmore 400 Series ~ cold press watercolour paper (140 lb/300 gsm).
