Currently on exhibition at the C2 Centre for Craft as part of I’ve Got Something to Tell You…, a group exhibition exploring diverse stories through varied forms and materials.

This series reimagines the artist’s book as an object to be worn – carrying knowledge, story, and memory close to the body. Through jewellery and wearable forms, the works consider how words shape who we are, hold our histories, and have the potential to transform our lives.

Worn Words explores how language and books help us understand who we are. Sewn fragments of discarded dictionary pages transform the book into a personal, portable reminder of the ways learning moves us through life.

Worn Movements is a circular book worn on the wrist. The wearer physically turns its pages, carrying stories and memories in a slower, more deliberate way. In contrast to endless digital scrolling, the piece offers a tactile, embodied engagement with words and ideas.

Moving beyond the page, Worn Transformation is knitted from wet kelp and dried into a hardened, lace-like form. The work transforms soft, organic material into a durable structure, carrying a story of change and preservation. Like kelp in the ocean, this piece holds a narrative of transformation meant to be worn and remembered.
