Bow Low is a collaborative work with Winnipeg, Manitoba artist Sue Gordon

This book is a poem.  The whole piece; acid-bitten copper cover, beeswax covered pages, simple verse, etched images and historical coptic binding, forms an invitation to live life with humility and fullness through difficult circumstances.

Bow Low has been accepted into the Art of the Book 2018, an international juried exhibition of the Canadian Bookbinders and Book Artists Guild.  It will be opening in Victoria, British Columbia in August 208 and travelling for two years across Canada.  For the full list of dates and venues go to Art of the Book Tour.

Materials include:  Acid-etched copper cover Coptic bound using waxed linen thread, encaustic and mono-printed pages on Magnani Pecia paper – wrapped with Cave degener black walnut flax handmade paper and saddle stitched with linen thread.
