Being by water has always been soul-restoring for me – whether at our favourite place to camp in the Experimental Lakes region of Northwestern Ontario, our home away from home on Malcolm Island north of Vancouver Island, or in once-in-a-lifetime places far from home. Water has a way of bringing me rest. I love taking long walks along the shoreline, discovering what the tides and waves have carried in and left behind.

These driftwood books are made from pieces found along the shores of Lake Ethelma in northern Ontario, Long Beach and Campbell River on Vancouver Island and in Sointula on Malcom Island (north of Vancouver Island).
